Brendan got a new baby gadget. Now he may start getting ready for his shift to carry the baby around.

This is Finland's government's contribution for the baby. It got mailed to us today. Brendan's bike's book rack was a little full with the box this size. It is a big box full of all sorts of baby goods. And, the box itself will work as a first bed for her. Quite neat. Opening the box felt like having an early Christmas.

Yesterday we went to Tivoli to see the Christmas lights there. It was beautifully decorated. We also had some Glögi and hot chocolate there.

On Monday when I came from work this beautiful bouquet was waiting in the corridor. My parents-in-law sent it to us for our first wedding anniversary. So beautiful. So sweet. Thank you! Kiitos! Tak!

This is Petra's dad's colleague in Copenhagen lighting the Christmas tree. Pretty wacky. Apparently fireworks have been integrated into the Christmas tradition here. Petra's dad was the Santa Claus again in Naantali and luckily he did not need to do the climbing there. The real Santa Claus does not do this.

We are heading back to Copenhagen on Sunday. There was a short sunny moment at the railway station. We had to capture it.

There was also Christmas market in the city during the day and beautiful light decorations in the evening.

We went to visit this guy.

Brendan wanted to talk to this guy but couldn't. So, he just listened to some of his tales.

Same day. My parents went to Chicago to see Petra. How cool!

This past Sunday. Petra went to Chicago for a design conference so I'm exploring a little to keep myself occupied.

My latest creations for our baby to be.

Petra's latest illumination project used 22 of these orange juice bottles, some glue and Christmas lights. And the mug behind the bottle is from the sweetest ever wedding gift that just got mailed to us.
